A 69-year-old woman was killed and a man hospitalized following a head-on collision in North Fork, Madera County, on Wednesday afternoon, October 1, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just after 4:30 p.m. on Road 200 near Duke Road.
The woman, driving eastbound, drifted into the westbound lanes during a curve and collided with a Chevy Silverado driven by a 75-year-old Fresno man.
The man sustained major injuries and was transported to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
