A driver was injured after a traffic collision involving a white Chevy Silverado and a Robertson’s Ready Mix cement truck on Bear Valley Road in Apple Valley, San Bernardino County, on Tuesday, October 7, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 11:04 a.m. near Japatul Road, approximately 1/8 of a mile from “Dead Man’s Point.”
The Silverado struck the back of the fully-loaded cement truck, causing major front-end damage to the pickup and overturning the cement trailer onto the roadway.
The driver of the Silverado sustained minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to St. Mary Medical Center. Bear Valley Road was fully closed in both directions while crews used heavy-duty equipment and cranes to remove the overturned trailer.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the CHP Victorville Station.
