Four individuals sustained injuries in a two-car crash in Canoga Park, Los Angeles, late Tuesday night, October 15, 2024.
Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded to the incident at approximately 10:50 p.m. in the 21000 block of Parthenia Street, where they discovered a collision involving multiple victims.
Firefighters on the scene reported what sounded like gunshots, prompting a request for immediate backup. Upon investigation, Los Angeles Police Department officers determined the noise came from an exploding nitrous oxide canister, commonly known as Galaxy Gas, rather than gunfire.
The four injured individuals were transported to a hospital for treatment, while at least two people were detained for undisclosed reasons.
LAPD’s Valley Traffic Division is investigating the cause of the collision.
