A woman was hospitalized with moderate injuries following a five-vehicle crash on Highway 101 at the Gaviota Coast in Santa Barbara County on Sunday night, October 20, 2024.
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the collision occurred south of Mariposa Reina around 9:00 p.m.
The woman, whose identity has not been released, was transported by ambulance to the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital emergency room.
Santa Barbara County crews and the California Highway Patrol are investigating the cause of the crash.
