Five people were injured and transported to the hospital following a severe crash involving two vehicles and a streetlight in Santa Clarita’s Newhall neighborhood on Sunday evening, November 3, 2024.
The accident occurred just before 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Lyons Avenue and Fourl Road, near an ARCO fueling station.
The collision between the two SUVs sent one of the vehicles into a concrete and rebar street light.
Emergency response included three ambulances, a paramedic squad, and two fire engine companies to handle the scene and assist the injured. The conditions of the five hospitalized individuals remain unknown.
The Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station is conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
