A pedestrian was killed after a hit-and-run collision in Hollywood, Los Angeles, on Thursday night, November 7, 2024.
The incident occurred around 10:00 p.m. at the intersection of Franklin and North Van Ness avenues.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department’s Hollywood Division, officers arrived to find the victim lying in the roadway. Los Angeles Fire Department personnel transported the pedestrian to a nearby hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
Witnesses reported seeing the suspect’s vehicle, described as a late model gray or green Mini Cooper, flee the scene without providing assistance.
