[11-22-2025] Two Men Injured After Car Strikes Train-Crossing Signal on North Alameda Street in WilmingtonTwo men were injured after the car they were in struck a train-crossing signal at the Pacific Harbor Line on North Alameda Street in Wilmington, Los Angeles, on Saturday morning, November 22, 2025.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, firefighters responded around 1:00 a.m. to 800 N. Alameda St., south of East Anaheim Street, where they found a 34-year-old man pinned in the driver’s seat. 

LAFD spokeswoman Lyndsey Lantz said firefighters freed the driver before paramedics transported him to a hospital in critical condition. A 35-year-old passenger was also taken to a hospital in serious condition.

LAFD stated that the train tracks were temporarily closed while fire crews and Los Angeles Department of Transportation personnel handled traffic control and investigated the crash.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
