A three-vehicle crash involving a school bus left one person injured in Madera County on Tuesday afternoon, December 3, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred in the area of Road 29 and Avenue 14, just outside of Madera.
The crash began when a school bus stopped at the intersection, followed by a Chevrolet Aveo. A Nissan Sentra, traveling behind the Aveo, failed to stop in time and collided with the back of the Aveo, pushing it into the rear of the bus.
The driver of the Chevrolet Aveo sustained minor injuries.
The investigation into the accident continues.
