A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on a connector road near Monterey Park early Thursday morning, December 5, 2024.
The collision occurred at approximately 1:31 a.m. on the transition from the westbound San Bernardino (10) Freeway to the southbound Long Beach (710) Freeway.
California Highway Patrol officers discovered the victim at the scene, according to CHP Officer Sergio Garcia.
The pedestrian, whose identity, age, and gender remain unknown, was pronounced dead at the scene.
