[12-07-2025] One Hospitalized After Head-On Crash on San Francisquito Canyon RoadA person was hospitalized following a head-on crash in Santa Clarita late Sunday night, December 7, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision was reported around 10:21 p.m. on the 35100 block of San Francisquito Canyon Road.

Initial 911 calls indicated someone was trapped, but CHP said the individual had self-extricated by the time officers arrived. One person was transported to a hospital in unknown condition.

CHP confirmed that firearms were recovered from one of the involved vehicles. A video from the scene showed investigators removing several weapons and tactical items from a large metal storage container and multiple gear bags, including handguns, ammunition boxes, a long rifle-style case, holsters, and protective gear. 

CHP did not release details about the types of weapons found, how they were stored, or whether they were related to the cause of the crash. No arrests were made.

The incident was cleared at 1:50 a.m., and the cause of the crash is under investigation.
