A male pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in La Verne on Sunday afternoon, December 8, 2024.
The La Verne Police Department reported receiving calls about the collision at approximately 4:55 p.m. at the intersection of Bonita Avenue and Damien Avenue.
Emergency crews, including La Verne Fire personnel, responded to the scene and transported the pedestrian to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.
