A pedestrian was killed after being struck by at least one vehicle on the southbound San Diego (405) Freeway in Torrance on Sunday evening, December 8, 2024.
According to California Highway Patrol Officer Sean Lough, the crash occurred around 7:15 p.m. near Redondo Beach Boulevard.
Emergency responders pronounced the pedestrian deceased at the scene. The identity, age, and gender of the victim have not yet been disclosed.
An unknown number of vehicles were involved in the incident.
The CHP is conducting an investigation into the circumstances of the crash.
