A pedestrian, identified as 66-year-old Terry X., was fatally struck by a van in El Monte on Tuesday afternoon, December 10, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a white Toyota Sienna van struck the pedestrian just before 5:50 p.m. near 750 Santa Anita Avenue.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
