A motorist suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle collision in the North Hills area of Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon, December 14, 2024.
The crash occurred around 4:57 p.m. on 15100 W. Parthenia Street, west of Kester Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
One of the vehicles came to rest in the Pacoima Wash. Initial reports suggested that the driver was trapped inside, but firefighters confirmed this was not the case.
The injured motorist was safely rescued using a litter basket and transported to a hospital in serious condition. The individual’s age and gender were not immediately available.
A man involved in the collision was assessed at the scene and reported minor injuries but did not require hospitalization.
