One person was injured after a two-vehicle head-on crash at the junction of the northbound Long Beach (710) Freeway and the eastbound Pomona (60) Freeway in East Los Angeles early Thursday morning, December 18, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, officers were called to the scene around 1:47 a.m. and found a black Jeep Wrangler and a blue Honda SUV that had collided in the middle lanes of the 710 Freeway.
CHP said one person was trapped inside the Honda SUV. Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics freed the individual, who was transported to a hospital in an unknown condition. Debris from the crash was scattered across the freeway lanes.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
