A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash in Studio City, Los Angeles, on Tuesday morning, December 23, 2025.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the collision was reported around 5:45 a.m. in the 12900 block of Ventura Boulevard.
Officers arrived to find an adult pedestrian who was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said the involved vehicle was described as dark-colored and was last seen traveling eastbound on Ventura Boulevard near Van Noord Avenue. Authorities noted the vehicle sustained front-end damage.
Traffic in the area remained impacted as the investigation continued.
