One person was killed following a three-vehicle crash on the Long Beach (710) Freeway in Paramount early Saturday morning, January 31, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, officers were dispatched at around 2:55 a.m. to the Rosencrans Avenue off-ramp and the northbound 710 Freeway.
CHP officials reported that multiple vehicles were involved in the collision, including a white Ford Explorer and a white sedan.
Authorities stated that one person was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s name, age, and gender were not released.
Debris from the crash was scattered across several lanes of the freeway. CHP issued a SIG Alert at approximately 4:11 a.m., closing two lanes of the northbound 710 Freeway at the Rosencrans Avenue off-ramp for about 1.5 hours while investigators examined the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
