[03-03-2026] Fresno County, CA – Off-Road Motorcycle Rider Seriously Injured in Crash With Pickup Truck near Fresno St. and Weldon Ave.

An off-road motorcycle rider was hospitalized after being struck by a pickup truck in Fresno on Tuesday evening, March 3, 2026.

According to the Fresno Police Department, the crash was reported at around 6:30 p.m. near Fresno Street and Weldon Avenue. Officers said the motorcycle entered the intersection without lights on.

Investigators stated the pit bike was traveling southbound on Fresno Street, approaching the west curve, while a pickup truck was heading northbound and attempting to make a left turn. The two vehicles collided in the intersection.

Police described the rider’s injuries as serious but said the person is expected to survive. The pickup truck driver remained at the scene and was not injured.

The incident remains under investigation.
