[04-14-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Two Injured After Car Crashes Off Hilltop Rd. in Malibu

Two people were injured after their car careened off a steep hilltop road in Malibu on Tuesday afternoon, April 14, 2026.

The crash was reported just before 4:30 p.m. near Saddle Peak and Stunt roads, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A heavily damaged Porsche appeared to have launched off Saddle Peak Road, sailed over the hillside, and come to a stop dangerously close to a home at 24071 Hovenweep Lane. Debris from the wreckage was scattered across a nearby field.

First responders with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department extricated the two victims from the vehicle. Both sustained injuries, though their immediate conditions were not available. At least one victim was rushed to a nearby fire station before being airlifted to a hospital.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. It remains unclear whether speed, alcohol, or drugs played a role in the incident.
