[04-27-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Man Killed in Possible Hit-and-Run Crash Near South Figueroa St.

A man was killed in a possible hit-and-run crash in Los Angeles early Monday morning, April 27, 2026.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers responded just before 3:15 a.m. to a report of an auto versus pedestrian collision near South Figueroa Street and West 75th Street in the Vermont Knolls neighborhood.

Authorities reported that the victim was found in the roadway and was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles Fire Department personnel.

The driver involved was not present when officers arrived. Police requested an air unit to search the surrounding area for the vehicle and the driver.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
