Three people were critically injured following a pedestrian vs. vehicle collision in Westlake, Los Angeles, late Thursday night, April 18, 2024.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the traffic crash happened at about 11:00 p.m. at the 6th Street and Alvarado Street intersection.
Officers said that the victims were walking across Alvarado when they were suddenly struck by a vehicle. All three pedestrians were said to have sustained critical injuries following the incident and were taken to a nearby hospital for further medical care. Their current conditions are undisclosed at this time.
The driver of the vehicle reportedly stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police. There is no word yet if the driver was injured as well.
