A 2-year-old toddler was critically injured in a two-vehicle crash in South Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon, June 27, 2026.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the collision occurred around 2:30 p.m. at 103rd Street and Alameda Street in the Florence-Firestone area.
Authorities reported that a vehicle making a left turn onto westbound 103rd Street from Alameda was T-boned by a southbound vehicle on Alameda.
The toddler was transported to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in critical condition. A woman involved in the crash also suffered a broken femur and was taken to a hospital for treatment. It was not immediately clear whether the two were in the same vehicle or had a relationship.
The LAPD South Traffic Division is investigating the circumstances of the crash.
