[04-23-2024] Three People Injured After Collision Sends Vehicle Into Gas Station in EscondidoThree people were injured after a collision caused a vehicle to hit a gas station in Escondido on Tuesday morning, April 23, 2024.

According to the Escondido Fire Department, the incident occurred around 10:08 a.m. at a Chevron station near East Valley Parkway and North Rose Street.

Reports indicate that two cars collided, causing one of the vehicles to hit a gas pump. A man was reportedly standing beside the gas pump, which fell on top of him.

The male victim was rescued and taken to Palomar Hospital with a head injury. The drivers of both vehicles sustained minor injuries and were also hospitalized.

The collision did not cause any fires or fuel spills. The authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
