[07-27-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Pedestrian Killed in Suspected Hit-and-Run Crash in Pomona

A man was killed after being struck by two suspected hit-and-run vehicles in Pomona on Monday night, July 27, 2026.

According to the Pomona Police Department, the crash occurred shortly before 11 p.m. in the 600 block of Rebecca Street, west of Mission Boulevard.

Officers arrived and found the unidentified man lying in the roadway. Despite attempts to provide lifesaving measures, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

Authorities said the pedestrian may have been struck by two separate vehicles, described as a black SUV and a white sedan. Both vehicles reportedly left the scene after the collision.

The Pomona Police Department is investigating the crash and reviewing surveillance footage from nearby businesses to identify the vehicles involved.
