[07-28-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – One Killed, Another Critically Injured in Electric Motorcycle Crash in Burbank

One person was killed, and another was critically injured after an electric motorcycle collided with a Tesla sedan in Burbank late Tuesday night, July 28, 2026.

According to the Burbank Police Department, the crash was reported at around 11 p.m. at the intersection of Alameda Avenue and Hollywood Way.

Authorities said a male rider on the electric motorcycle was transported to a hospital, where he later died. A female passenger on the motorcycle sustained critical injuries and was hospitalized.

Police reported that both occupants were ejected from the motorcycle during the crash. The Tesla driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

Preliminary findings indicate that the motorcyclist’s unsafe speed was likely a contributing factor in the collision. The identities of the victims have not been released.
