Two people were taken to a hospital following a three-vehicle crash involving a big rig in Lancaster late Saturday night, August 22, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred shortly before 11 p.m. on State Route 14 near Avenue H.
CHP said three vehicles were involved, including a big rig and two passenger vehicles. Footage from the scene showed a damaged sedan near the front of the semi-truck and a damaged SUV near the rear.
Two people were transported to a hospital for treatment. Information regarding the severity of their injuries was not immediately available.
CHP confirmed that one person was arrested following the collision. Authorities did not immediately disclose the person’s identity, the reason for the arrest, or which vehicle the person occupied.
The CHP continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
