A man and a woman were killed in a crash in Encino early Friday morning, October 2, 2026.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the crash occurred at around 2:00 a.m. along Burbank Boulevard near Balboa Boulevard.
Police said the car crashed head-on into a tree. The two occupants, described as a man and a woman who appeared to be in their 20s or 30s, were killed.
Authorities said the man and woman were the only occupants of the vehicle. Their identities were not immediately released.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
