[05-28-2024] At Least Two People Hospitalized Following Multi-Vehicle Collision Along Avalon BoulevardAt least two people were hospitalized following a multi-vehicle collision in Los Angeles on Tuesday evening, May 28, 2024. 

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the crash happened around 7:29 p.m. on E 42nd Pl along Avalon Boulevard.

Authorities stated that four vehicles were involved in the crash, and seven people were assessed for injuries. At least two people were transported to area hospitals for treatment. The extent of injuries and the current condition of the victims remain unknown. 

Police advised the public of possible traffic delays due to street closures until the operations are complete. It is unclear what caused the collision or if drugs and alcohol played a role in the incident.
