A rider was killed after a motorcycle vs. vehicle head-on collision in Los Angeles early Sunday morning, June 23, 2024.
According to the authorities, the fatal incident occurred at about 2:00 a.m. at the intersection of Hyperion Avenue and Tracy Street between the Los Feliz and Silverlake neighborhoods.
Details on how the crash happened are still unclear, but initial reports indicated that the motorcyclist was thrown approximately 40 yards away after colliding with a newer model SUV. The rider, whose name, age, and gender weren’t disclosed, was pronounced dead at the scene by the responding medical crew.
