[06-24-2024] At Least One Person Injured Following Multi-Vehicle Crash Involving Big Rigs on 210 Freeway in PasadenaAt least one person was injured following a multi-vehicle collision involving big rigs in Pasadena on Monday evening, June 24, 2024. 

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 7:20 p.m. on the westbound Foothill (210) Freeway near Lake Avenue. 

Authorities stated that a manufactured home slid off a big rig and crashed into a white Honda CR-V and another big rig, with one of the semis being overturned on the freeway. As a result, at least one person, identified only as a woman, was injured and transported to a hospital after complaints of back pain. 

The big rig’s trailer sustained considerable damage. Some parts of the dropped home were splintered, and debris was scattered across the highway. All lanes of the westbound freeway were closed for several hours to clean up the crash site and conduct further investigation. 

No additional details were disclosed, and the police are gathering all the necessary information to determine the cause of the crash. 

Investigations are ongoing.
