A person was killed in a collision involving a vehicle and motorcycle in Acton, Los Angeles County, on Thursday evening, October 24, 2024.
The California Highway Patrol reported that the accident occurred around 6:45 p.m. near the intersection of Crown Valley Road and Antelope Woods Road.
According to the CHP, a manager at a nearby Arco gas station witnessed the crash and had surveillance footage of the incident. However, it was unclear if authorities had obtained the footage for further investigation.
The cause of the fatal collision remains under investigation.
