One person was critically injured after a two-vehicle traffic collision in Victorville on Tuesday morning, December 3, 2024.
The incident occurred at approximately 11:41 a.m. at the intersection of Bear Valley Road and Ninth Avenue.
Emergency personnel arrived at the scene and found a gold-colored SUV with front-end damage and a blue Honda Civic with significant damage to the driver’s side.
Firefighters extricated an occupant trapped inside the Honda and arranged for an airship to transport them to an out-of-area trauma center. The male driver of the SUV was evaluated at the scene but declined medical transportation.
Sheriff’s spokeswoman Socorro Cuevas confirmed that alcohol was not a factor in the crash. The Victorville Police Department is investigating the cause of the accident.
