[02-04-2025] Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck by Multiple Vehicles on Freeway Connector Near Baldwin ParkA pedestrian was fatally struck by multiple vehicles on a freeway connector road near Baldwin Park early Tuesday morning, February 4, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at approximately 2:09 a.m. on the transition road from the eastbound San Bernardino (10) Freeway to the northbound San Gabriel River (605) Freeway.

Authorities stated that the pedestrian was walking on the freeway transition road when multiple vehicles struck them. Responding officers found the victim in the first and second lanes of the connector road.

The CHP issued a SigAlert, closing four lanes of the transition road for approximately two hours while they investigated the collision.

The cause of the incident remains under investigation. No further details are available at this time.
