A 44-year-old man was killed after his motorcycle collided with a vehicle in Pasadena on Monday afternoon, February 3, 2025.
According to Pasadena Police Lieutenant Matt Campeau, the crash occurred around 3:00 p.m. at the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Washington Boulevard.
The motorcyclist sustained major injuries and was transported to a local hospital in critical condition by Pasadena Fire Department paramedics. Despite lifesaving efforts, he succumbed to his injuries. His identity has not been publicly released pending notification of next of kin.
The driver of the vehicle, a 28-year-old Pasadena man, remained at the scene and was uninjured. Authorities stated that no citations or arrests have been made at this time.
The Pasadena Police Department’s major accident investigation team is actively investigating the incident to determine the cause of the crash. No video surveillance of the crash has been located so far.
The investigation is ongoing.
