At least five people were injured following a two-vehicle collision in the Wilmington neighborhood of Los Angeles on Sunday evening, April 27, 2025.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the crash occurred around 7:00 p.m. near the intersection of North Wilmington Boulevard and West Opp Street.
A utility pole and the two vehicles involved were damaged. Officers requested two ambulances to transport the injured to local hospitals.
One of the vehicles sustained heavy front-end damage after crashing into the utility pole, while the other vehicle came to rest in the center of the intersection, according to reports.
The identities of the victims and the extent of their injuries were not immediately available. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
