One passenger was killed and multiple others were injured in a solo vehicle crash on Hasley Canyon Road, east of Sloan Canyon Road, in Los Angeles County on Monday afternoon, June 9, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol Newhall-area office, the incident occurred at approximately 4:31 p.m. CHP units arrived to find a single vehicle that had left the roadway and crashed.
The teenage driver sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills. Two passengers were also transported by ambulance to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital in Valencia. One of the passengers was pronounced dead at the scene.
CHP officials stated that alcohol and drugs are not suspected to have played a role in the crash. The ages and identities of those involved have not yet been released as the investigation remains ongoing.
