A fiery multi-vehicle crash led to a full closure of the northbound San Gabriel River (605) Freeway at Valley Boulevard near South El Monte on Thursday, June 12, 2025.
Authorities reported significant traffic disruption, with congestion extending back to Whittier Boulevard. All lanes on the northbound side of the freeway were blocked as emergency crews responded to the scene.
