One person was killed in a multi-vehicle crash in the Vermont Vista area of Los Angeles on Saturday night, July 5, 2025.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the collision occurred around 9:20 p.m. in the 400 block of West 91st Street near Figueroa Street.
Firefighters found one person trapped in the wreckage. The individual was pronounced dead at the scene after being extricated using hydraulic tools. The victim’s age and gender have not yet been released.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, two people were seen fleeing the scene on foot following the crash. Authorities have not confirmed whether the incident is being investigated as a hit-and-run.
