A male passenger was killed in a crash involving an off-road vehicle and a sedan in Lancaster early Sunday morning, July 13, 2025.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the incident occurred around 2:25 a.m. on Avenue H, west of 35th Street.
Authorities reported that a Nissan Sentra was traveling eastbound on Avenue H when it struck a Can-Am Maverick that was in the roadway. One man aboard the off-road vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. It is currently unknown if speed, alcohol, or drugs were factors in the collision.
