A child and a parent were struck by a vehicle in Los Angeles County on Sunday evening, July 27, 2025.
According to Capt. Sheila Kelliher with the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the incident occurred in the 26100 block of Magic Mountain Parkway in Valencia.
Officer Megan Curtiss of the California Highway Patrol Newhall-area Office stated that the initial call came in reporting a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle. CHP officers were dispatched at 4:59 p.m. and arrived on scene by 5:02 p.m.
Curtiss confirmed that at least one victim was airlifted to the nearest hospital. No further information was available at the time of publication.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
