A 23-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run collision while crossing Washington at Lincoln Boulevard in Venice, Los Angeles, on Saturday morning, September 20, 2025.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the pedestrian was crossing in a marked crosswalk around 1:58 a.m. when he was struck by a blue SUV.
The driver failed to stop, identify themselves, or render aid as required by law. The vehicle was last seen fleeing eastbound on Washington Boulevard.
The Los Angeles Fire Department responded and provided medical attention at the scene. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Los Angeles City Council has authorized a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the identification, apprehension, and conviction of the driver.
The investigation is ongoing.
