[09-08-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck By Vehicle in Marina del Rey

A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle on Lincoln Boulevard in Marina del Rey on Tuesday night, September 8, 2026.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident occurred around 9:58 p.m. on Lincoln Boulevard at the Marina (90) Freeway eastbound entrance.

Police said a vehicle was traveling southbound on Lincoln Boulevard when it struck a pedestrian who was walking in the third traffic lane. The impact reportedly threw the pedestrian southwest into the roadway.

Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded and pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene from blunt-force trauma.

Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity pending notification of next of kin. Initial information did not identify the driver or indicate whether the motorist remained at the scene.

Authorities continue to investigate the fatal crash.
