A 45-year-old male pedestrian was killed following a hit-and-run collision in Pacoima, Los Angeles, on Wednesday night, May 8, 2024.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, they were called at about 9:03 p.m. to Foothill Boulevard and Terra Bella Street, just west of Hansen Dam Park, where the victim was found.
Upon arrival, LAPD officers found the man lying in the street, where he was pronounced dead shortly after. It is believed that the victim was crossing Terra Bella Street when he got hit by a vehicle that quickly drove away from the crash site.
The police are looking for a green Sierra GMC pickup that was last seen leaving Terra Bella and going north.
