A 22-year-old man sustained severe injuries after being struck in a hit-and-run collision in Sylmar, Los Angeles, on Wednesday evening, December 11, 2024.
The incident occurred around 9:15 p.m., at the intersection of Sayre Street and Foothill Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Investigators determined that a gray sedan was traveling northbound on Sayre Street before turning left onto Foothill Boulevard. The vehicle then struck the pedestrian before continuing westbound on Foothill Boulevard without stopping to provide assistance.
The city is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the suspect involved in the hit-and-run.
